Notes & Moves is a School of Arts, Music & Dance founded by Devendar Kumar Mark in 2006. The institute is renowned in the city for various music courses on Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Violin, Tabla both Western Classical and Hindustani. The institute has excellent and experienced faculty to teach various music courses. We have different programs and course material made to ensure that every age group is enjoying and feeling confident in acquiring the technicalities of the instruments.
The institute had conducted so far many training workshops in Music, Dance at many Corporate, Schools and Townships. The institute currently has about 120 students from all age groups. Our Alumni include employees from Microsoft, Deloitte, Infosys, Satyam, CS, ISB, Oracle, Cybage, etc. The institute has youthful young dance masters who teach modern dance forms like Salsa, Hip-hop, free style & Western dance. It also has experienced teachers who teach Classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Mohiniattam, and Kuchipudi.

About our Instructors:
Devendra Kumar Mark:
Mark is the Founder and Director of Notes & Moves. Mark has been into music since the age of 5. He has been professionally in Sitar for 13 years and Piano for 11 years. He is a Graded Artist from Trinity College of London. He has been playing guitar for 17 years now. He plays about six instruments with equal ease like Guitar, Piano, Drums, Tabla, Violin and has been teaching music for over 10 years now. He has been a regular instructor in Corporate like Microsoft, ISB, Oracle, Cybage, etc.
Kenny:
Kenny is the lead Choreographer and has been into Dance since the age of 9. He has been professionally trained in Salsa & Hip-Hop for about 4 years and in Western Dance for about 8 years. He is a certified dancer from STUDIO 9. He performed in various popular TV shows and corporate events and has been teaching Dance for about 5 years now.
Prasanna:
Mrs. Prasanna Mohan has been into BharthaNatyam since the age of 5. She has been trained from the renowned Ravindranath & Chandrika Das gurus in Cochin. She is specialized in BharthaNatyam & Mohini Aattam. She has been teaching Dance for about 15 years now and had been awarded as the best dance in Ravindra Bharathi for her performances.

For Individuals:
We offer all the above courses for individual students at different levels ranging from basic and learner courses to advanced courses. Our most popular course is 3 months course, which will teach students about 8 songs which they can perform on the stage for both Music and Dance. The course consists of about 12 classes each of 1 hour duration. After a student completes this course, he would be able to understand all the fundamentals of Music and Dance. This course provides a nice platform for students to prepare for advanced courses at a later stage.

For Corporate/Townships:
We offer trainings for corporate employees and children for a group of minimum of 10 – 15 students in one batch. We offer training spanning from 3 months to 1 year. Also we conduct corporate workshops for a period of 1 month or 3 months teaching various rudiments of Music and Dance.

Training for Group Performances:
We have previously choreographed or trained corporate employees, kids and also popular TV shows. We would provide training spanning 1 or 2 weeks for various events, stage performances and TV shows.
