I thought i will share a little bit about chords.
A chord is formed when multiple pitches (notes on a musical instrument) are played together. Chords come in a lot of different variety forms.
Major chords, minor chords, diminished chords, augmented chords, seventh chords, and Neapolitan chords.
First we will start of with C and G major chord.

ReplyDeleteI know that you don't like your students getting ahead of themselves, but I hope you will honor my request of putting notes for the following pieces, where there is a beautiful guitar lead.
ReplyDelete1. "My heart is beating" from the movie "Jalsa". The first 20 seconds and the last 20 seconds of the song.
2. "Gaallo Thelinattunde" from the movie "Jalsa". From around the 30th second into the song to the 45th second in the beginning and the last 35 seconds.
3. "Mellaga Karaganee" from the movie "Varsham". The first 20 seconds and from around 1 min 25 seconds into the song to 1 min 45 seconds (This is probably Veena, but I hope it can be replicated with Guitar)
4. "Nuvvu Nuvvu" from the movie "Khadgam". From around 1 minute 50 seconds into the song to 2 minutes 20 seconds.
